Update: Deutsches Haus Response to Coronavirus

Dear Deutsches Haus Members and Friends,

Today, Governor Edwards announced more aggressive measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including the closing of all bars and limiting restaurants to drive through or take out service only. In accordance with those measures, the Deutsches Haus will close to the public and to members at midnight tonight. No events or meetings will be held at the Haus, with the exception of the final language class of the session. Operations may be able to resume on April 13, however, the state will evaluate the situation seven days prior.

Governor Edwards announcement can be accessed via the following link. https://gov.louisiana.gov/index.cfm/newsroom/detail/2411.

We appreciate your understanding regarding the closure. If you have any concerns or questions, you may contact me at President@Deutscheshaus.org.

Sincerely,
Brian Huber
President-Deutsches Haus

p.s. Wash your hands. We want to see you when this is over
